Artist and interior stylist Alissa Wright grew up on the Gold Coast. Painting from an early age, Alissa soon began exhibiting and winning many awards throughout her education. She studied Fine Arts and illustration before starting her own business designing artwork and glassware for interior designers.

Alissa is constantly traveling and absorbing the influence of worldwide interior trends and creating luxurious visual landscapes. Using a mix of oil, gauche, pastel and acrylic, there is a literal element to Alissas subjects - reflective of her training in illustration.

It is an ode to the ways in which we come together as individuals, celebrating our cultures and traditions, or the importance of grouping together with family and friends. We Gather in many ways, we collect group and share from our natural environment. We gather objects. What we call home is surrounded by these items that are not mere possessions; they are vessels of history, memory, and identity.
