RICHARD ‘RED’ GADDUM

Richard ‘Red’ Gaddum was born in Hawkes Bay New Zealand, in 1953.

Red is the nephew of Peter Williams, well renowned New Zealand equine artist. Red spent 17 years traveling Australia in his Holden station wagon painting his natural landscapes in oil. To support himself, Red worked across stations in Australia and New Zealand jackarooing and shepharding.

Now, Red enjoys traveling and takes his coloured pencils and notepad to record his travels through art. Red visited Woolooma Glass House and completed the water colour painting at the last light of the day in June, 2024.
